Emergency and legacy access

Your family can still reach your papers.

If you are in hospital, out of reach or no longer here, the people you trust can still get to the papers they need. You decide who can ask, what they can open and how long they wait.

They can view and download, never edit or delete. Every document they open shows in your Activity, and you can stop their access at any time.

Who needs an account? Anyone who signs in on their own phone or computer. A baby's passport or a child's school report can sit in a parent's account, with no extra cost.

You can cancel at any time, and if you do not choose a plan after the trial, nothing is deleted.

Is there an app?

Yes. On iPhone, open skellig.app/m and add it to your Home Screen. It opens like an app, with Face ID and offline copies. On a computer, use any browser. One account works on both. Apps in the App Store and Google Play are on the way.

What does the AI do with my documents?

It reads a document to fill in its details, to find documents in your photos, to spot duplicates and to answer your questions from your documents and notes. You can turn AI reading off for new documents in Settings; Ask still uses your documents and notes when you use it. It is not used to train AI models, it only ever works on your own account, and it never sees what you keep in Private.

Can my family see my documents?

Only the ones you put in a space you share with them. Everyone in a household has their own private space, and nobody sees what you keep there.

What happens when the trial ends?

Choose a plan to keep adding documents. If you don't, nothing is deleted: you can still open everything and download your documents.

What if I forget my password or lose my phone?

When you sign up, you save a recovery code. With it, you can always choose a new password and get back in. Keep the code somewhere safe: without it, nobody can unlock your files for you.

Can I get my documents out?

Yes. Download Everything gives you all your documents and their details in one go. It does not include your notes or Private. If you close your account, we delete your documents, notes and Private.
