Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Point Two Global LLC FZ for using Skellig (formerly OneDocSpot).
These terms are the agreement between you and Point Two Global LLC FZ, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we"), for using Skellig. By creating an account, you accept them.
This version is in force from 3 November 2026 for accounts opened on or after that day. For accounts opened before, it applies from 3 December 2026, and the version of 28 October 2026 applies until then. If you keep using Skellig after that date, this version applies. What changed is listed at the end.
1. Your account
You must be 18 or over, or 13 or over and invited to a Family plan by a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for you (16 or over where local law requires it). Give a real name and an email address you control. Keep your password and recovery code safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
2. Free trial
New accounts get 14 days free, without a card. When the trial ends, choose a plan to keep adding documents and notes, and adding to Private. If you don't, your account becomes read-only: you can still open everything and download your documents, but you cannot add to it, use the AI or start new sharing.
3. Plans, payment and renewal
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in US dollars, through Stripe.
- Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period at the price then shown, until you cancel. We email you before a yearly renewal and before any price change.
- A founder price stays the same for as long as your subscription continues without a break. A coupon or other discount lasts for the period shown when you use it.
- You can cancel at any time in Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account becomes read-only.
- We do not refund part periods, except where the law requires it.
- A Family plan covers up to 6 accounts, including the person who pays. That person manages the plan and who is in it. Each member has their own account. The payer cannot see members' documents unless a member shares them.
4. Your documents and notes
Your documents and notes stay yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them, read them with the AI (section 7), show them to you and to the people you share them with, and back them up. We do not use them for advertising or to train AI models.
You are responsible for what you upload, import, share and send. Only add documents and notes you have the right to keep, and only share other people's documents with their permission. When you send a note to someone on Skellig, they get their own copy at once. When you send a document and they keep it, it becomes theirs. Either way, it stays theirs even if you delete yours.
5. Private
- Private is a separate place for notes, photos and documents. What you put there is locked on your device, with your Private code, or Face ID on iPhone, before it is saved. We cannot open it, and the AI never reads it.
- Skellig runs in your browser, on iPhone too. So this protection relies on the app code we send each time you open it. If that code were ever changed, for example after an attack on our servers, it could capture your Private code.
- Keep your Private code safe. If you lose it and every iPhone where Face ID opens Private, nobody can open Private again, not even us. The only way back is to delete everything in Private and start again.
- Download Everything does not include Private. Keep your own copy of anything in Private that you cannot afford to lose.
- What you keep in Private is your choice. If you keep passwords, access codes or the means to reach your online accounts there, keep them somewhere else safe too.
- A document moved into Private leaves Documents. While it is in Private, the AI does not read it, search does not find it and you get no reminders for it. Shares, Spaces and links to it end, the calendar and your iPhone's offline copy drop it, and its earlier versions are not kept. Emergency contacts can open it only if you chose Private photos and documents for them.
6. Sharing, emergency access and the silence check
When you share a space or a household, send a link or name an emergency contact, those people can see the documents you chose, under the rules shown when you set it up. Links stop working when they expire or when you stop them. What someone has already seen or downloaded cannot be taken back. Your calendar link and your Email to Skellig address work for anyone who has them: keep them private, or make new ones in Settings.
An emergency contact gets access only after the waiting period you set, unless you say no in time. Their access to your documents stays open until you stop it in Settings.
If you turn on the silence check, we email you (and your backup email, if you add one) when you have not used Skellig for the period you chose. If you do not answer, your emergency contacts are told that they can ask for access.
You can also choose, for each emergency contact, whether they may receive your Private notes and your Private photos and documents. These open to them only when all of this is true: they have set up their own Private, you have opened Private since they did, the silence check has told them, they have asked for access, and their waiting period has passed. Our servers enforce this timing. If you come back, what they could open in Private closes, but what they have already seen cannot be taken back.
7. The AI
The AI reads what you add to fill in details such as type, names, numbers and dates, and finds documents in your photos. This is on unless you turn it off, for new documents in Settings or each time you add some. A document added with AI reading off is not read until you tap Read with AI on it, or Make Them Searchable in Settings.
When you use Ask, the details and text of your documents and your everyday notes are sent to the AI to answer you, whether AI reading is on or off. The AI can make mistakes. Check important details, especially expiry dates, before relying on them. Reminders depend on the dates saved for each document.
8. Adding documents without internet
On iPhone, documents you add without internet are kept on that iPhone, encrypted, and sent once Skellig is open, unlocked and back online. Until then they are not in your account. If you sign out, clear the app's data or reset Face ID on that iPhone before they are sent, they are lost.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use Skellig to store or share illegal content, to harm other people, to break or overload the service, or to get into other people's accounts. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. Availability and backups
We work to keep Skellig available and back it up regularly, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Keep your own copies of documents you cannot afford to lose. Download Everything covers your documents. It does not include your notes or Private.
11. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We delete your documents, notes and Private from the live service at once and from backups within 35 days. We may close accounts that break these terms, or that are unpaid and unused for 12 months, after emailing you at least 30 days before.
12. Liability
Skellig is a place to keep documents, not legal, immigration or financial advice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as a missed renewal deadline or a lost opportunity.
We are also not liable for losses caused by content in Private that can no longer be opened because its Private code and devices were lost. The same applies to losses caused by someone using details you kept in Skellig after getting into your devices or account, unless this happened because we failed to keep Skellig secure.
Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [the Emirate of Dubai and the UAE / DIFC, to be confirmed]. Disputes go to [courts to be confirmed]. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you more rights, those rights still apply.
